- Graphic Designer:- A Graphic Designer applies drawing techniques and computer art to create corporate images, advertising messages, and other support materials in all fields of business. One facet of many visual communication careers, a graphic designer may design images for use as logos, packaging, advertising or posters for the promotion or development of goods, services and ideas. They may also design artwork and layout for fabrics, magazines and other publications.
- Production Artist:- A production artist helps develop concepts, character interactions and story line elements once a project has passed the story board phase. As an animator, the production artist focuses on making the story, game, video, or feature entertaining. A production artist can also be instrumental in the production of commercials.
- Print Production Designer:-
Uses color theory, graphics, digital illustration, and digital layout to prepare the visual tools used in ad campaigns, promotional campaigns or marketing campaigns. Just one stepping stone to one of the many visual communication careers in today's dynamic business environment.
- Web Page Designer:- Creates the look, layout, and overall impact for Web sites and Internet projects using computer art and flash visual communications. Designs the pages in a Web site to fit client specifications using knowledge of HTML. Requires knowledge of site design, architecture, navigation methodologies, search engine optimization, and may require Web certification.
Visual communication on the World Wide Web is perhaps the most important form of communication taking place when users are surfing the Internet. When experiencing the web, one uses the eyes as the primary sense and therefore the visual display of a website is important for the users understanding of the communication taking place.
